About me!

I am an accomplished creative, with passions for fiction and non-fiction writing, playwrighting, speechwriting, and directing for both stage and screen. I am a four-time national finalist and National Champion in persuasive speaking, where I wrote and performed 10-minute speeches on societal shortcomings and their solutions. I’ve won awards for filmmaking and poetry. I have published an anthology of 32 original theatric works. I have just completed a manuscript for a full-length novel which I plan to publish in the next year.

I hope to change the world, be that with my art or with service to my communities. Since 2020, I have volunteered with children to improve literacy rates, help underfunded Speech and Debate teams and create content for a local educational channel.

I love film, theater, and literature. Not merely consumption, but analysis. I love to dissect works of art to find themes and comparisons to other works, societal issues, and my own life. There’s nothing I love more than finding references or homages. I consider myself an art detective, and I love to share my findings with others, be that my incredibly tolerant friends or 13k strangers on the internet who watched and read my essay exploring the themes of art and isolation in Bo Burnham’s comedy special Inside.

I was proud to be accepted to Harvard University, but I am also proud to stay in New Mexico and continue to support and revel in the communities and people I love.
